Looking back at your life you know God is so faithful. You can think of countless moments of things God has personally done for you. But the one thing that might of been hard was the wait. You know God is faithful, but the wait is so hard sometimes. You know that God's plan for your life will be good and it will glorify his name! So nothing to worry about really, but the wait or the time.
I think of certain people in the bible who waited on the Lord. They waited for a promise, a very specific promise. The Most famous of them all is Abraham: "I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed." And this promise had a purpose- it was leading to something or rather someone, Jesus! The one who would be stricken so that we could be saved!
Soooo I am waiting on the Lord, but I want it to lead to knowing
and loving Jesus more. And ultimately I want it to glorify God. I have an “idea”
of the things I want, but I know that what God has planned will be far greater
than I could eve imagine. Lord, your will be done!
Here are some verses that have encouraged me to continue to
wait on the Lord. I hope they bless and encourage you! Grace and Peace!
Psalm 25:3- "Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed"
Psalm 25:3- "Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed"
Isaiah 40:31- "but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
Romans 10:11- "For the Scripture says, 'Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.'"
Romans 8:28- "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, whoi have been called according to his purpose"
