You Take it, and allow your will to be done in my life!

That moment you realize the Holy Spirit tried to tell you something about a situation and you just ignored it. You convinced yourself that it wasn't bad and tried to make excuses for it or just simply tried justifying your actions. Then the very thing you knew that was going to happen happens and you know there is no one to blame but yourself. It doesn't matter if others were in the wrong or not, BUT you knew you could have made a different choice but you didn't. You tried to hold onto something you knew would never be anything at all.

There is a strange pain of knowing that you have so long to go before you ever get this something you desire. In a sense, you failed, your wrong choice shows you are not ready to have what even God desires for you.

The you decide that giving what you desire to God is best, and say Lord "You take it, and allow your will be done in my life." Yet, there is this slight temptation to look at what you gave God and desire it back AND  a deep pains comes from that. Why? It's a pain that comes from your selfishness and your unwillingness to let go. Only you're causing it! Instead of trusting God you still hold onto what you want.

Oh temptation! You desire for me to rebel against my God. To call him a liar, unfaithful and unloving. But you're wrong. Oh my God loves me... he has revealed it through his Son, Jesus Christ! He has lavished his love on me by sending His Son to die on a cross to pardon my sin.

This all reminds me of Beautiful Eulogy's song, "Release me from this snare"

Release Me From The Snare Lyrics

[Verse 1: Braille]
I acknowledge my sin to You and I did not cover my iniquity
Theres nowhere to hide from Your all seeing eyes
You know everything I can't tell you a lie
You know my own own heart much better than I
You know when I sleep and You know when I rise
You know all the thoughts that go through my mind
From morning to night every moment of pride
I acknowledge my sin to You and I did not cover my iniquity
You know what I've done. You know what I do
So I open my mouth and confess it to You
And You're making me new with your spirit at work
To convict me in sin so I know where to turn
And I know where to run, run to your arms
To be cleansed of my sin by the blood of Your son
Hey! I acknowledge my sin I know I can't kill it with a knife or a gun
It must be crucified on the cross with your son
Then I can know it is finished and done

Then I can know that I'm truly forgiven
And get to the business of living for You
And its not for my glory but its only for You
And its speaks of your mercy your loving Your truth
Give me the faith to believe what You say
And trust in Your word when I'm tempted to stray
And to patiently wait for the day You return
I hate my sin it burns!
[Hook: Braille]
The old will pass away, while I'm still here You hear my prayer
Please, wash my sins away, oh Lord release me from this snare
The old will pass away, while I'm still here You hear my prayer
Please, wash my sins away, oh Lord release me from this snare

***Note: One of the saddest moments in my life. I look to God to restore this brokenness at the wedding feast.

So what aspect of God’s obedience am I thankful for? Philippians 2:6-8

6“Who, being in very naturea God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very natureb of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!”

God is nothing like me. He is perfect. I can really trust him. Even with the hurt that I have endured or even when I’m confused about something. If I can just look at him and see his humility and love- His love that has no boundaries- & his humility that says, “NOT even my thrown kept me from coming to save you personally and bringing YOU close to me” than I can trust him and be thankful for what he has ALREADY done in my life. His very nature is love. His obedience was done in love.

So what aspect of God’s obedience am I thankful for? It would be Christ Humility and unfailing steadfast love to come in a human body and die on a cross for ME so that I could be adopted as a child of God!!! I’m a women who is soooooooo undeserving of this right, but God has clothed me with his righteousness has changed, is changing and will change my heart in its entirety.

New Poems - New season

The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Humble you are. Coming down from your throne to pardon me. Dying a death you did not deserve. My rightful place, I did deserve. This wretched sinner that I am. Nonetheless, you came, conquered sin and death making me alive. While also granting me eternal life. This gift of God who could deny? Oh not me, oh not I. For is it only by grace through faith I have been saved. Any other way is considered vain.

A Relentless Love
You're more colorful than rainbows. More brighter than stars. You're stronger than kings, bigger than knights. Your Love towers over, it covers the deepest sin. Oh Lord, you are the reason for the righteousness of men!! Come let me lay in the bosom of your love so that I may not forget the height, the depth of it ~ and receive your sweet forgiveness.

Let this song ring in your ear today!

GREAT ARE YOU LORD

Written by: Jason Ingram, Leslie Jordan, David Leonard (AKA All Sons & Daughters)

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
Great are You, Lord

It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
Great are You, Lord

All the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are You, Lord

The song i'm singing to you (JESUS, I am yours)

Here I am before You
Falling in love and seeking Your truth
Knowing that Your perfect grace
Has brought me to this place
Because of You I freely live
My life to You, oh God, I give
So I stand before You, God
I lift my voice cause You set me free

So I shout out Your name, from the rooftops I proclaim
That I am Yours, I am Yours

All the good You've done for me
I lift up my hands for all to see
You're the only one who brings me to my knees
To share this love across the earth
The beauty of Your holy worth
So I kneel before You, God
I lift my hands cause You set me free

So I shout out Your name
From the rooftops I proclaim
That I am Yours, I am Yours
All that I am, I place into Your loving hands
And I am Yours, I am Yours

Here I am, I stand, with arms wide open
To the One, the Son, the Everlasting God

We pour out our praise to you Only!

It's your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise to you only! Great are you, Lord!

Hope flooded my lips, actually it was your goodness. I could not stop speaking of the greatness of your goodness. The thought of your love, how just, how holy you are consumed my mind. At that moment, I praised you for everything that had happened in my life; the good, the bad, and the ugly. All of it was designed to see just how good, perfect, and holy you were. I could not blame you for anything. You are PERFECT, you are GOOD. In fact, without you those words have no meaning. Your greatness flooded my soul, your goodness was on my lips. My heart could see just how good you were. How sweet your grace and mercy has been in my life. Just like Springtime the scales on my heart fell down like leaves and supernaturally new leaves began to grow instantly. The thoughts of "your enough" flooded my soul. Everything about you is enough for me. It filled me up. Your mercy, your words, your grace is enough. I don't need anything else. I see many people at church stand up and wave their hands as they worship. I have never been able to do it because I fear hypocrisy, but that day my heart waved. It stood up, it was dancing, it was jumping. It waved at you and saw your great goodness. My heart could see that you were enough. I pray that that this praise will continue to come from the inside out.

Its your...It's your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise to you only!

I 'am yours, you are mine

Lord, you are so good to me. Your truth is captivating, its inescapable. You are everything I need and want. Can't live without your direction. Can't live without your wisdom. God let me reach your thorn room. I don't know a lot about theology, but I know I've heard your whisper- those darks nights, those sunny days.

Your words have blessed these hands and feet that so easily stumble. Oh God, I belong to you, I am yours and this always perplexes me that you are mine. Thank you for adopting me and for taking me under your wing. I am safe with you. You cover me and protect me. Always bringing me back to yourself. Only you would do this. Who could love this woman? Who could love someone like me; this heart that so easily wanders. Only you!

God, safe with you I am. It is good to be yours and to know that you are mine.

Your daughter,
Ashley
